Gunplay Recalls Brawling With 50 Cent On ESPN’s Highly Questionable

Gunplay appeared on ESPN’s Highly Questionable this week to promote his forthcoming debut album Living Legend.

The MMG rapper turned it up to 11 off the bat, discussing some of the scariest moments from his experience growing up in Miami, including the time his truck got shot up and he and his friends barely managed to escape unscathed. He then moved on to discuss the time he fought 50 Cent at the 2012 BET Awards, explaining to Bomani Jones, Dan LeBatard, and LeBatard’s dad that he managed to land a few punches on 50 despite 50’s attempt to hide from him.

“All I know is I got off. I don’t know who he was hiding behind,” he said. “I got off. I don’t care what happened to me after that, but I got off… Everybody know that. My veins don’t pump no cool aid jack… I seen 50 Cent, and I took off on him. I turned myself in 6 days later without a scratch on my face.”
