Missy Elliott Performs “Get Ur Freak On” At Essence Festival 2015

Since making her official comeback during Katy Perry’s Super Bowl performance, Missy Elliott has been fairly quiet (apart from appearing on a Ciara single, that admittedly, not many people heard). She returned to the stage last night at Essence Fest, and much like her scene-stealing show at the big game, Eliott shut shit down.
A particularly inspired performance of the immortal hit, “Get Ur Freak On” has made its way online, and shoud give you an idea of how ready Missy is to get back into music. Now, we just patiently await her album, which Timbalandis said to be producing.
