Oakland Goes Crazy Following Warriors’ NBA Championship
Before last night’s Game 6 of the NBA Finals, the Bay Area hadn’t seen the Warriors bring home the NBA title in 40 years. Thanks to Stephen Curry, Finals MVP Andre Iguodala, and the rest of the Warriors’ cast, the Larry O’Brien trophy is returning to Oakland.
Following the series clinching win, it was pandemonium in the Bay Area- specifically in Oakland- where people were fighting in the streets, jumping off of street signs, and doing donuts in the middle of intersections.
It wasn’t all fights and utter chaos, though. Outside of Oracle Arena was a more peaceful, albeit rowdy, mob of Warriors fans celebrating for #DubNation.
