The Weeknd Performs “I Can’t Feel My Face” With Taylor Swift

The Weeknd is getting a huge push into the pop superstar role, and last night he got pretty much the biggest co-sign possible in that world. That’s right, the almighty Taylor Swift invited Abel out to perform his smash “I Can’t Feel My Face” at her 1989 tour stop in New Jersey, and proceeded to provide backing vocals throughout the Michael Jackson-channelling smash.

The two artists have both worked closely with superproducer Max Martin recently, who may have had a hand in the linking the two up. We assume this will be the closest thing we’ll see to a collaboration between the two artists, but then again, we never thought we’d see Abel dueting with Ariana Grande either.
